The Old Colony Youth Football League
The players who participate in the Silver Lake Youth Football Program are from the towns of Halifax, Kingston and Plympton. We are part of the Old Colony Youth Football League O.C.Y.F.L. and are bound by our own by-laws which are in compliance with the O.C.Y.F.L.
In February 2007 the membership of the O.C.Y.F.L. voted to make S.L.Y.F a Division 2 organization.
The other towns in our division are as follows:
- Rockland
- Hanover
- Hingham
- Yarmouth Dennis
Our league has three levels of players;
- MITES: Ages 7, 8 and 9
- PEEWEES: Ages 10 and 11
- MIDGETS: Ages 12, 13 and 14
